Faith In Action At Christmas
As we reach the end of term, pupils have been celebrating the start of the Christmas period, taking part in activities such as our Year 11 bake sale to raise money for their rewards trip. Other pupils have been involved in setting up our Christmas tree, Christmas displays and Salesian Family Dinner. Pupils sat with their year groups and staff to enjoy a Christmas dinner cooked by our amazing canteen staff, funded by school.
Pupils have been involved in preparations for
this special time throughout Advent – we are so proud
of their positivity, creativity and their RUAH! Our Faith in Action chaplaincy group has been busy spreading joy and kindness! They've created a special Advent Calendar of Kindness filled with thoughtful actions for each day of Advent to inspire everyone to make a difference. The group has also been lending a helping hand at our charity bake sale, raising funds for those in need this season. Well done to our pupils for showing the true spirit of Advent through kindness and service!

On December 5th, 57 of our pupils represented the school
at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral’s Advent Service - a
first time visit for some who were in awe of the amazing
architecture. Pupils and staff joined in the singing of
traditional and modern Christmas carols. It was great to
share this beautiful experience with so many schools from
across the Archdiocese.

This term, the Chaplaincy’s initiatives have fostered a
vibrant spirit of faith and community within our school. We
look forward to continuing this journey together in the
months to come. Saint John Bosco, pray for us!
